Hi Terri,
I just want to take some time to thank you for officiating our wedding.  It was so special because you made it easy for Ting and I.  Both  of us were very nervous but as we got into the service, you made it easy for us.  Your humor put us all at ease and made us feel as if we were the only two persons in the world right then and there.  Thank you.

Our guests thought you were absolutely fabulous.  My sisters just loved what you did.  My 'talking head' sister cried through the whole service.  She wished she had had you for their wedding service.

Holly from Embassy Suites also thought you were fabulous and hopefully will recommend you for others.

Again, thank you so much for making this day so special for us.  Both Ting and I are so happy!

With kind regards and best wishes to you,
Pete and Ting

 Terri,,

Thank you for making our wedding day so smooth and memorable. Finding us orchestrating the fine details.  Our guests loved the service and unique ambiance of the beautiful outdoor setting.

Your presence, wise words and incorporating our family members made the experience touch our heart's. We will always remember you, the Montage and our special day!

Our warmest regards,
Mr. and Mrs. Streelman

Crystal and Anthony got married under the Wedding Tree in Julian.

Denise and Fernando

Best Wedding Ever!!!

Doug was an old client from our years in real estate, and when he and Simone decided to get married they did it right.  Their family flew to California from Germany.  In Germany, there was a blizzard with snow over the tops of the cars.  That particular day in January, it was sunny and warm and gorgeous!  After their ceremony on the patio at the Ritz Carlton, the whole family took little carts down to the sand and played in the surf - in their tuxedos!  Then back up to the Ritz for a lovely dinner.  It couldn't have been a nicer day, and I just LOVE this picture of Simone's German daddy jumping in the waves in his tuxedo:

Elvis and Kaysie had SO MUCH FUN at their wedding at Strawberry Farms in Irvine.  They wrote their own personal "repeat after me" vows, which included dividing up the cleaning chores, and tolerating personal gas.  Their guests were laughing so hard.  I'm sure they had a FABulous party!

How weird is this?  Two Jeff and Jennifer's in a row (it wasn't on purpose!) and three Jeff's in a row.
So many many "J" people!

For the rose ceremony for the mothers, Judy wrote the most lovely thoughts about her mom - absolutely heart warming!
And Randy wrote a list of apologies to his mom.  I don't remember them perfectly, but I believe he apologized for almost burning the house down, for getting sent to the Vice Principal's office in high school, and for all those things she never found out about.  It was so so so funny, and his mom just sat there in the front row with her arms crossed, nodding.  I think Randy must have been a very naughty boy.

About a year after their wedding, I officiated the wedding for Judy's sister, Chau and her TALL fiance, Victor.  Chau wrote something in her wedding vows about how Victor had to first get past her height requirements.

And a year after that, I officiated the wedding for Chau's best friend, Jennifer & Chandra.

If you jump to 1 minute, 45 seconds in this YouTube video, you'll see some clips from the beginning of Julya and Linda's wedding at the St. Regis Hotel wedding at the gazebo in 2008.  I love it!  As guests arrive to the wedding ceremony, they're handed a glass of champagne from a welcoming waiter.  The celebration begins right then and there:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh2E8jvHt_o
P.S.  Julya still owes me that margarita...  PAY UP!

These two were SOOOOOO in love.  Monica www.PhotographybyML.com photographed their Laguna Beach wedding on the sand:

3/3/2009  We took Martin and Kai to Catalina on our boat (they paid for the gas) and they checked into a hotel at Two Harbors, and got married on the patio:

Michiko (from Japan) and Edward (from England) are Oxford doctorates, both teaching brain or cellular science at prestigious universities here in Southern California.  We asked Edward's father to say a Wedding Blessing during the ceremony, and instead of saying a blessing, he let Michiko know he was expecting some grandchildren!
Honestly, I have no clue who N&M G are.  But the note card was sure pretty!

September 21, 2013

A bride recently told me I should have references posted on our web-site, but I really have no idea how to go about it!  I haven't kept any of my old emails that were really lovely references, and we've received too many beautiful notes from brides & grooms (mostly brides) over the years to post them all on a web-page.

So I've been sitting here at my desk, scanning my little collection of note cards and pictures that I could never bear to throw away (my office is an embarrassing mess) and I'll post them all on this blog.

This may work.  It may not.  But it cain't hurt to try!
